Cascadia has assigned one of its contracts to our ‘integration exemplar venture’ Cascadia Green Solutions that has begun to order parts and physically integrate a unit for shipment based upon Cascadia’s design. Recent public announcements further confirm our customer is likely critically involved in the launch of a high profile Class 8 hydrogen truck.
Clean truck fuel a primary reason we founded Cascadia & Cascadia GS originally, we are pleased to additionally have added a medium duty hydrogen truck company start up as a customer with significant design work during the first half of 2023 now completed. Finally, the opportunity to produce what almost certainly will be the first, certainly one of the first -commercial implementations- of AEM electrolysis equipment in the U.S.
We have an electric utility generator cooling design right behind it. Our New Grid generation expert conceived of this application that would enable thousands of tons per year of high intensity carbon saved from emission to the climate in addition to positive ROI per generator for the 26,000+ U.S. generators in operation.
Dr. Taotao Matsui, Cascadia co-founder, research scholar, Professor of Marketing, Rissho University, Tokyo, Japan here speaking with Dennis Walters, Chief of Staff, STARS Technology Corporation.
STARSH2 exemplifies the firms CASCADIA has worked to identify as suppliers of systems that support distributed, low cost hydrogen often years before they were widely known. This effort further to a carbon & energy transition faster than possible by relying solely on a traditional central production paradigm.
Mr. Walters sums up a view we share; “I knew then that the hydrogen economy should be our goal.
I couldn’t see any solution to this problem until I met Bob Wegeng [STARS Founder & CTO] . He described his approach to making low-cost, low-carbon hydrogen in a distributive system. I knew then that this was the solution to the hydrogen dilemma.” Mr. Walters concludes; ‘I’m here because we need the hydrogen economy. We need it now. I want to help make it happen.”
Our team started when in 2014 we came together to propose a 5 MW Electrolysis Project to support 100% zero emission food delivery. Daryl Wilson, second from right, former CEO of Hydrogenics and now Excutive Director of the Hydrogen Council, was an early supporter of innovative proposals even from small organizations such as ours. An innovative approach in itself! Also pictured; Michelle Detwiler, Executive Director, far left and Martina SteinKusz, Director of Market Development, Renewable Hydrogen Alliance.
RHA-We advocate for harnessing renewable electricity to produce climate-neutral fuels. The Renewable Hydrogen Alliance’s mission is to promote using renewable energy to produce hydrogen and other climate neutral fuels to replace fossil fuel consumption.
Hydrogen Council-Comprised initially of 13 leaders from the energy, transportation and manufacturing sectors, in six years, the Council now includes close to 150 multinational companies representing the entire hydrogen value chain.
Cascadia Founder, Director, Dr. Taotao Matsui, (Lower Right) received the Japan Marketing Academy (https://www.j-mac.or.jp/bookaward/) 2021 Book of The Year Award. Also pictured is the Chairman of the Academy and the Host of the Award Ceremony, top right.
The award winning book discusses the emergence and development of the organic food market in the United States from the perspective of social movements, and shows how resources are organically connected to create a market.
In connection with the award it was commented; by carefully uncovering and accurately describing the changes in the organic food market in the United States over time, this book shows a major shift in consumer culture and lifestyle, a movement toward sustainability, and provides suggestions for cultivating authentic cultural content. This is a first-rate research book with clearly stated questions and answers based on a detailed review and many years of careful field research. It is a book that will serve as a guideline for subsequent researchers of consumer culture and marketing in terms of research perspectives and methods.
